In summer, you can enjoy walking around the Süßer Grund Hotel, on the magni­ficent new Trauf­gänger Premium Hiking Tracks called "Schloss­felsen­pfad" and "Wacholder­hohe". In addition, there are lots of possi­bili­ties for cyclists and mountain bikers on the "Hohenzollern" cycle track.

For the winter sport enthusiasts there are lifts and cross country skiing in and around the city of Albstadt. A cross country trail runs directly behind the Süsser Grund Hotel.

Around the Süsser Grund Hotel, children will find a big playground to amuse themselves and secured horse stables where guests can bring their own horses. Both young and old will find what they are looking for in the surrounding area, popular destinations include the recreation centre "Badkap", the "Hohenzollern" Castle, and many interesting museums in the city of Albstadt.
